West is Opening a Uniform Closet!

Has your child outgrown his/her school uniforms? Are the uniforms in gently used condition? Would you like to help fellow West Families adhere to our uniform policy?
We have just the place for you! West is opening a Uniform Closet that will stock gently-worn girls and boys uniforms for our students. Students will be referred to the Closet by school staff. Bring in your items to the school and place boys clothing into the BLUE container, and girls clothing into the PINK container.
Accepting:
- Boys and girls short and long navy blue pants
- Boys and Girls black or navy blue belts
- Boys and Girls long and short sleeves white shirts, blouses, turtle necks and polo shirts
- Girls navy blue skirts, skorts and jumpers
- Girls and Boys navy blue or white sweaters and sweater vests
NOTE: Items such as tights, socks and undergarments, will only be accepted if the itemsk
are still in the original packaging and have never been worn.k
How to Donate:
- Check clothing for any damage (missing buttons, broken zippers, and stains). Wash and dry clothing. Make sure the size tag is readable. If not, write the size on a piece of paper and pin it to the garment.
- Place item in a bag with your name*, contact number and e-mail address. There will be 2 containers, one PINK marked “girls” and the other BLUE marked “boys”. Check with the office for location of these containers.
- Parent volunteers are needed to stock donated clothing items, issue out clothing, and keep closet organized.
* Information is needed to complete donation receipt. Receipt will be sent home with your child. If you are not interested in the receipt, information is not necessary.
