In Pre Kindergarten our students discover the joys of reading. Being read to during circle time, creating their own first 'books', learning to tell stories, creating their first poetry are all ways we encourage their early reading.
We encourage families to take books from the library, buy books for the home, ask for books as presents during the holidays. If parents buy books through Scholastic.com we get points which we can redeem for more books for the classroom. Click here to purchase online. Use our teacher codes when you make purchases. The PK books lists can be found here - PK Book lists
Go to Scholastic.com and use code G2TTC for Ms. Phillips. |

Each year I create a new classroom campaign based on the needs of my students for that particular year. One year we focused on interactive play based teaching tools for teaching basic math concepts. Check back soon for my 2011/12 campaign based on the unique needs of this new crop of pre kindergarten students.
My campaigns can be found here. |
