Samuel Washington

Parent Rep - LSAT Chair

Sam is the married father of two amazing boys, one whom is enjoying his second year at West EC. He grew up in Shepherd Park, is a third-generation Washingtonian, and is a life-long Ward 4 resident. A graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and George Washington University, professionally Mr. Washington is an epidemiologist with 12 years experience working in infectious diseases and emergency preparedness/response for the District and federal governments. During the course of his career, one of his duties included acting as the health liaison between the DC Department of Health and DC Public Schools, ensuring the health and welfare of students, teachers, and faculty, so he is very familiar with DCPS and its policies. Mr. Washington is a classroom activity volunteer at West and very active in the West PSCO and the DC community.
