I am a parent, grandparent and have been adopted as grandma by West Students. I have been associated with West Elementary for over 25 years. I have three children (Tiffany Posey, Iris Bundy and Robert Bundy) who attended and graduated from West and I now have three grandsons attending West in grades Dustin WIlson in PreK, Dandre Posey in 3rd grade and Javan King in the 5th grade. I was the Vice President of the PSCO last school term, room parent to Dustin and Javan and co-room parent for Dandre. As room parent I assisted the teachers with what ever capacity they need and supplies. As a room parent I ask the teachers for a wish list and fulfill their list. I assisted with the Santa Workshop, school trips and in any capacity that was needed. My community ties enabled me to get support and food for the Reading Night and the Career Day activities. This year I am again room parent for Dustin and Javan and again co- room parent for Dandre. I will serve West Elementary again this year in whatever capacity you choose to elect me to serve. I am a committed supporter of education and West and I pledge to continue to give 100% support. |
