I am a parent to Corinne and Henry Hess, successful 1st graders who are enjoying their 4th year at West. We are very proud to be contributing members of the West family. We support and enjoy all the family events, classroom productions and school wide celebrations. Since coming to West I have served as a room parent, chair of the LSAT and member of the PSCO and various event planning committees. My husband is a regular volunteer and field trip chaperone. My mom is a proud grandparent who is enjoying more time at the school this year. I firmly believe that families are a key member of the team with staff which makes our children's education a success. My vision for the 2011/12 school year is for a closer alignment between PSCO support and student needs including both their academic and social development needs. The PSCO has an opportunity to be the critical bridge between the dreams and the aspirations of the school and the reality of volunteer support and funding. |
