Fillmore Showcase
Please join us on Monday, February 1st for our Fillmore Showcase evening in the West Cafeteria. The PSCO Concession Stand will open at 5:30pm, we will have brief school announcements at 5:45 and the Showcase will begin at 6:00pm. See you there!
2010/2011 Enrollment
We thank those of you who are considering West for the Fall. School Tours are available to those who are considering West for next school year. Please feel free to contact the main office to schedule a private tour. They can be reached at 202-576-6226 or e-mail OpenHouse@WestSchool.org Please remember that all DCPS Pre-School and Pre-K must be entered through a lottery. This includes families with students already enrolled at West!! You are given preference on the lists, but a slot is not guaranteed. For more information on the lottery and DCPS enrollment procedures click here. You can also visit the Main Office for assistance in filling out the forms. The lottery runs from January 28th - February 28th 2010.

Saturday Scholars
The annual Saturday Scholars program began January 23rd, but it is not too late to enroll your student! The program is intended to improve literacy, math and test taking skills in preparation for annual DC CAS testing. Held every Saturday from 8:30 am—12:30 pm at Truesdell Education Campus (800 Ingraham St NW), the program is free from now thru April 17th.Students are provided breakfast and snacks. Enrollment forms are available outside the main office. Please sign up!

Morning Tutoring
We are pleased to announce the return of our Morning Tutoring Sessions! Sessions will begin on February 1st! Tutoring is available to students in grades 3 thru 8 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:15am. Please sign up in the Main Office.
