Highlights from the West Parent/Student Handbook

Arrival: Students should arrive to school at 8:40 for Breakfast in the Classroom. Students must be registered in "Books before Breakfast" in order to arrive to school earlier.

Dismissal: Student will be dismissed at 3:15 and must be picked up in front of the school.The student/parent handbook can be found here - 

Uniforms:  All students are required to wear the school uniform on a daily basis. This year, students are required to wear a collared shirt (example: polo style shirt) and solid bottom-JEANS are not are part of the uniform. Students are also asked to wear a solid color sweater (Navy, Light Blue, Brown/Khaki, or White) for cooler days or inside in the air conditioned rooms. Sweatshirts and jackets with hoods should remain in the students' lockers and may not be worn in the classrooms. Students may wear any closed toe shoe. A complete description of the uniform policy is included in the Parent/ Student Handbook.

Preschool-Fifth Grade - White or Light Blue Collared Shirt, Navy Bottoms (Pants, Skirts, Jumpers, Shorts)

6th-8th Grade - Navy Blue Collared Shirt, Khaki Bottoms (Pants, Skirts, Jumpers, Shorts)

Blue Jeans are NOT a part of the uniform! 

Activity Fee: Agenda books, Author Reading Program, Library Subscriptions, Sports Program...these are just few ways the "activity fee" will be used this year! Each student is asked to contribute $20.00 as an activity fee this year. Payment can be made in the office and a receipt will be provided. Thank you in advance for your support.
